After 35 years in code enforcement split between Hampton and Newport News an various government projects I now am pursuing other avenues doing insurance inspections for my company :Construction Services by Marks". I now work most days except bad weather. Cover Richmond, Northern Neck, Emporia to the Elizabeth City & Outer Banks. Get to eat cheap at a lot of good restaurants, look at construction from a different perspective and realize that people pay for bad inspections thru higher rates. Nothing like buying a new house and finding out your stairs have and issue and are a liability. After 10 years I again returned to Code Enforcement, this time with Portsmouth.
