Good morning I have a question regarding a owner occupied single family dwelling. The sanitary drainage system on the property has failed and is leaking raw sewage in the yard. The dwelling is in the city and is not a septic system. Notice of violations have been sent by certified mail. The City has help the owners with grant applications ( Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project Inc. and Habitat for Humanity) but the owners have not followed thru with the applications. I am asking for help and examples of how your jurisdiction would handle this violation.
Thanks

We worked hard to get a Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project (SERCAP) Grant and Public Works is going replace the lateral and update the connection at the street.
