Question; may the code office enforce this law if there is no adopted Maintenance Code?

Mark BoltIn my humble opinion, the code official MAY invoke 36-105 C only if it is being applied in partnership with 36-105 B where the locality has not taken any action to adopt the VMC. However, if 36-105 B is being used as the catalyst for application of the VMC, i’m not quite sure where you get a refusal of entry…so in practical terms, I don’t see where it is enforceable.
