Has any jurisdiction changed their opinion of electrical bonding now that an ICC ES report recognizes the Counter Strike insulation protection from lightning strike.

Culpeper CountyThe AHJ only enforces the code the state provides the regulations. I don’t see where the AHJ has any latitude unless a modification is granted.
USBC 112.3.1 Conditions of listings. Where conflicts between this code and conditions of the listing or the manufacturer’s installation instructions occur, the provisions of this code shall apply. The code is very specific with G2411.1.1 CSST.
When I worked in Fauquier County we allowed it due to the ICC ES report. All major Manufacturers of CSST also have a comparable product with an ICC ES evaluation
