I’ve been recently appointed in Waynesboro. I’ve been interested in connecting with other inspectors, mainly to trade knowledge and develop some good, lively discussions to better learn the practical application of code in the field. Perhaps some of you prefer to use a different forum due to the seemingly quiet nature of this one, so maybe someone could direct me there. Any means of engagement in a living, breathing research setting would be better than the droning buzz coming from the pages of the IRC/IBC and such.
Good luck in your new position. Asking as many code folks in both yours and adjacent jurisdictions for help can be very informative. You will find that we all have lots to learn from each other and that you will never learn it all or remember everything. You are welcome to call me at any time at 540-432-7700.
