I have always enforced interior passage in new modular homes.I have got a couple lately that do not show the 34″ door opening to a bedroom and bath room.Is anyone else getting modular plans in not having the correct opening?I thought this was checked in the factory.
We had a few this past year with the same issue. We did not accept the plans until they made the necessary corrections. It appears these units came from manufacturers that also have units installed outside of Virginia. I believe the interior passage is exclusive to Virginia. I spoke with the SBCO (DHCD) and they are requesting anyone that comes across this issue contact them and let them know. This is supposed to be caught by the CAA as you mentioned. Hope this helps.
