As it is, a home owner is complaining about pour workmanship from there contractor and would like to have us look in to it for them. Is this something we should be enforcing? If not, who should we be referring them to with in the local or federal Gov? 04-27-22 at 6:23 AM #14719 Jamie WilksModerator The USBC states a permit is required for the construction of a building or structure. A good standard for piers, docks, etc is the Southern Pine Marine Construction Guide. Marine Construction A permit should have been obtained in relation to the home owner’s complaint. Hope this helps. 04-27-22 at 2:22 PM #14720 Jason WilsonParticipant Thank you sir, vary helpful ..
