VBCOA awarded four special awards in four award categories at the 2015 VBCOA Annual Conference in Virginia Beach on September 13 – 15 2015. VBCOA received multiple highly qualified award nominations to recognize our esteemed code enforcement colleagues this year. Presented by Rick Witt, Ron Clements and several others, Kenney Payne RA AIA with Moseley Architects received the 2015 Meritorious Service Award for Registered Design Professionals. Presented by Mike Williams and Paula Eubank, Kris Bridges with City of Martinsville received the 2015 Meritorious Service Award for Building Officials and Dee Fox with Frederick County received the 2015 Meritorious Service Award for Technical Assistants. Presented by Paula Eubank, Vernon Hodge with Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development received the 2015 Public Service Award. Congratulations Kenney, Kris, Dee, and Vernon and thank you all for your enduring commitment and selfless dedication to your respective employers and local government jurisdictions, VBCOA, and the code enforcement community!
