I have a question about the Virginia Register and the 2018 Va. Maintenance Code that takes effect on July 1, 2021. In the Virginia Register for March 1, 2021: http://register.dls.virginia.gov/details.aspx?id=9485, there is no mention of Va. Maintenance Code Sect. 107. The Va. Register stops at Virginia Maintenance Code Sect. 106.9 and then moves to Chapter 2.
Is this going to create an issue. I’m guessing that Virginia still wants to have Sect. 107 in the Va. Maintenance Code when July 1, 2021 arrives?
Someone on this chat recently provided me with a different resource that included Sect. 107; however, I don’t think the resource came directly from the Virginia Register.
Any feedback on this is appreciated.
Thank you.
The 2018 Virginia Codes can be viewed online at ICC. https://codes.iccsafe.org/content/IPMC2021P1/chapter-1-scope-and-administration#IPMC2021P1_Ch01_Sec107
Sorry, it not available yet. My Virginia Code link now misdirects to the I-Codes.
Circling back on this, I got a response from the State a few minutes ago. It appears that the reason for the lack of Va. Maint. Code Sect. 107 in the Va. Register is a lack of change related to the 2018 code cycle. Some other things were stated, but I think that was the main point.
