2017 VBCOA Mid-Year Conference Scholarship Application

The VBCOA Awards and Resolutions Committee shall award $1500 in total VBCOA scholarships to the VBCOA general membership to attend the 2017 VBCOA Mid-Year Conference in Charlottesville, Virginia on April 31 – May 01, 2017. Twenty (20) VBCOA scholarship awards shall be issued directly to scholarship recipients for conference registration in the amount of $75. Eligible VBCOA scholarship applicants include active governmental or associate level members of VBCOA in good standing. VBCOA scholarship applications shall be evaluated and selected based upon responses to VBCOA scholarship application questions and narrative. Priority consideration shall be granted to VBCOA members who serve in VBCOA official, regional, or committee leadership capacities and to those VBCOA general members who have never attended previous VBCOA conferences. The simple and quick electronic VBCOA scholarship application may be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2017midyrschapp. The VBCOA scholarship application submission due date for the 2017 VBCOA Mid-Year Conference is 5:00 PM, Friday, March 17, 2017. VBCOA scholarship recipients shall be notified via email or telephone within 7 calendar days of the VBCOA scholarship application submission due date, by Friday, March 24, 2017.
