For a non-residential installation, absolutely. We want to ensure public safety is considered during its design and intended operation as well as evaluate the activity and use it is being introduced into.
For residential installations, no, unless it exceeded the 6′ threshold height exemption for masonry walls. Above 6′ we want to address any fall hazards and potentially identify any load bearing concerns.
