DHCD will most certainly require mandatory code update training for code officials, etc. This will probably be through the Virginia Knowledge Center (online). Many if not most VBCOA Regions also offer code update training to contractors, engineers, architects, etc. The best option or way to obtain information would be through your local Building Department or the local VBCOA Region.
