Region III Meeting and Training

The monthly meeting and training will take place August 10th at the Wood Grill Buffet in Harrisonburg at 9:30am. Training will be on the common pitfalls in residential wood construction as observed by Theodore O’Donnell, P.E. Topics to be discussed include wall bracing, truss bracing, mechanical fastener installations, shear walls, conventional roof framing etc. If you want to submit any questions in advance of if you can’t be there, forward them to Ron Schuett and he will get the answer back to you. This training is excellent for plan reviewers, field inspectors, home remodelers, builders and may also help some design professionals or drafts people. Hope to see you there.
