Long Beach Group A PCH voters:
I assume most of you are aware but just in case you are not, the 2015 Group A OGCV went live this past Monday, Feb 8th and will be open until 11:59 pm on February 21st. Be sure to download and review the OGCV instructions posted on the cdpACCESS timeline page as they contain important information regarding how the OGCV process will be conducted due to the electronic voting device problems encountered in Long Beach.
As indicated in the OGCV instructions, once we stopped using the voting devices in Long Beach, the PCH actions were based on a visual call/count by the Moderator. As such, we do not have any vote tallies for these code changes going into the OGCV. The end result is that the OGCV starting point for the vote count is 0 – 0 (Section 10.1 of CP 28). This means that the final action on these code changes is based solely on the OGCV. There are also a handful of Phase 1 votes by the Long Beach PCH voters during the period of January 19 – 25, 2016 for which there was a failed motion. The voting options for these are going directly to the OGCV with a starting vote count of 0 – 0. These are identified by the notes in the posted PCH results. Click here for results.
All totaled there are 424 code changes on the Group A OGCV ballots.
Hopefully you’ll be able to log on and cast your vote to decide 2018 I-Code content for the Group A codes. Click here to log on to cdpACCESS with your MY ICC account.
The 2015 OGCV is open to all Governmental Member Voting Representatives who were validated for the 2015 Group A Cycle and Honorary Members. Be sure to spread the word!
Thanks
